Matthew Hooton is the author of the novels Everything Lost, Everything Found (2025), Typhoon Kingdom (2019), and Deloume Road (2010). He has written short stories and essays for journals, magazines, and newspapers around the world, and teaches creative writing at the University of Adelaide, where he is also a member of the JM Coetzee Centre for Creative Practice.
