Matthew Hooton is the author of the novels Everything Lost, Everything Found (2025), Typhoon Kingdom (2019), and Deloume Road (2010). He has written short stories and essays for journals, magazines, and newspapers around the world, and has taught creative writing at the University of Victoria, in Canada, and at the University of Adelaide, in Australia, where he is a member of the JM Coetzee Centre for Creative Practice.
